Originally born as angels, these demons were stripped of their divinity for their ‘crimes against the gods’. These creatures hold a strong significance within various myths and legends, and are worshipped by some cultures.
Crafted from The Mother’s flesh by Sol himself, these creatures were originally born with a divinity that allowed them to craft from The Mother themselves. Originally, they were named the Gear Makers, and were Sol’s workers for creating life. They also had roles in landscaping and designing various things to help fill The Garden, to improve the lives of the denizens within.
Before The Garden’s collapse, they were tasked with building a new angel, to help bring order and stem the corruption spreading among the denizens. These angels, the clockwork angels, were disbanded and destroyed when they tried to face off Erebus. Following this, they were tasked to create the Dra’gal in secret. For this, Erebus stripped them of their divinity, and scattered them among the dying Garden.
Their appearance is somewhat deer-like, with a body shape similar to that of a satyr. Below the waist, their body is feral, but above it, they are anthro. One major difference is their teeth however, as they have sharp teeth front teeth, with flatter molars at the back, making them far more omnivorous then their feral siblings.
Whilst they’ve lost their divinity, they are still incredibly skilled. Being gifted with creative minds, they are able to draft blueprints for almost anything they desire, and are natively skilled with any tools they touch. Whether it’s creating, repairing, or dismantling, they are able to do it with ease, making them invaluable as medics, engineers, or any other creative role.
Their name however, comes from a unique ability to them. A voice that can draw upon mana in their environment to ‘cast spells’ through song, or even projected voice. Most commonly, this is used to deter attackers, or to calm injured, but can be used in other various ways.
Despite their Master being slain long ago, and despite them being robbed of their divinity, they stay true to their goal, watching over life where they can, working to try and rebuild The Garden they once helped to watch over.
